Chesapeake Bay fishing report #cobia #redhot

We had Jason and his gang back out with us for their yearly vacation fishing trip. It was some great weather and stellar fishing. It was also a special day because we had Ric Burnley tag along. He is putting pictures together for an upcoming article he is writing in the Anglers Journal. We were very fortunate right out of the gate and capitalized. We caught 8 Cobia total, keeping our limit biggest fish was around 45 inches. We did pull off what Rick called “the cover shot photo” fish was a 60-70 pound monster. Sad part is we didn’t pull her off once, but twice. OUCH! Also caught a handful of Spanish and Bluefish while we soaked back towards home.
