Cobia & Flounder Chesapeake Bay report #Virginiafishing

FLOUNDER & COBIA REPORT

Another great day of fishing on the Salt Treated! We had Dave with RD1 Outdoors out with us for a trip. Unfortunately with morning storms it caused us to get a late start and only gave us a VERY small window to catch the Flounder. However, we scratched out a respectable catch in a small amount of time. Caught about a dozen Flounder with the biggest being 22 inches. The flood gates opened and the current started screaming and made Flounder fishing impossible so we switched gears and started looking. The conditions were decent but still very glary but we got on a good bite. We caught 5 Cobia total kept two with the biggest being 52inches we did have a shot at an absolute stud bolt but she spit the eel. It was a great day with good company, we really appreciate the business. Salt Treated Fishing as some up coming dates open don't miss out the bay is on fire and we can put you on the meat! #catchfishandchill #salttreatedfishing
