Flounder and Big Cobia Chesapeake Bay fishing report #fishfry

Catching up on some reports leading up to this (tournament) weekend. This was a very special couple of trip(s) to me. We had my first ever clients back out with us, Dennis and Dale. They've been fishing with me since I first opened the doors to Salt Treated Fishing, so every time we have them back it's real enjoyable. We fished two days back to back. Day one we caught about 10 Flounder, kept 5, with the biggest being 20 inches. Got on a great Cobia bite and caught Cobia until they had enough kept our limit biggest around 45 inches. Day 2 focused more time on Flounder fishing, just like the day before The strong ebb tide made it difficult, but we scratched out a great catch. We had 7 Keepers (forgot two in the picture, they where at the bottom of the fish box). Biggest was 22 inches and a bonus Triggerfish. Then we switched gears to Cobia fishing. Both Dennis and Dale have caught Cobias almost 70lbs over the years, but it has been awhile since they got on a JUMBO. We caught 5 Cobia with the highlight hooking a triple on the way in and landing all 3 with Dennis landing a Stud bolt 60 incher!! Thanks again for the great dinner and as always, thanks for being such a loyal customer to Salt Treated! We have some prime availability coming up both "walk on" trips aboard the "Salt Treated" and open boat trips on " Clock Work" don't wait and come enjoy a great experience on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay! #catchfishandchill #accuratefishing#simradelectronics #boweduplures

"walk on" spots open July 1 & July 2
